I would like to inform people who use my website or contact me via email that in accordance to GDPR (stands for General Data Protection Regulation and it is a new data protection law in the EU, which comes into force in May 2018.):
I do not keep use contact details for marketing purposes.
All patient consultation information is stored on paper records only and kept under lock and key.
Patients can ask to see their consultation papers and have the right to be forgotten. Although I do need to keep a copy for more than 8 years in case of insurance claims.
I do not pass on any patient contact details without permission first.
If anyone emails me with personal in formation that may be sensitive then they need to inform me so that I can delete emails as appropriate.
